It was a good year of travel (though I realized that’s exactly what I said in 2014 ^-^)
I still have a bunch of Argentina posts coming…but in the meantime, I wanted to share this tea and dessert collaboration I’m doing with Michelle Karr-Ueoka of MW Restaurant. My first job (over a decade ago!) was working for Michelle at Alan Wong’s. We’ve been friends since, and I am super excited for this event. It’s a three-course tea and dessert pairing. Three of my favorite teas for the season (prepared in both traditional and more unusual ways) and three desserts specifically created by Michelle to pair with each tea. It was a quick weekend visit that involved provoleta at every meal, and reading books while bundled in soft dresses and scarves. Never thought I’d get a chance to visit Patagonia, but very grateful I did.
