Matcha Chia Seed Pudding

Another week, another tea video ^_^

Ever since trying the chia seed pudding at El Rey on the LES, I’ve been craving something similar for breakfast/snack almost daily. Can’t get over that comforting tapioca-esque texture. So here we have…matcha chia seed pudding.

Couldn’t be easier to make:

  • Mix a tablespoon of chia seeds with teaspoon of matcha.
  • Add two cups milk. I like using a mix of almond and coconut milk.
  • Refrigerate 20-minutes (or overnight if you want to save time in the morning).
  • Take it out and top with fruit, granola…anything you desire.
  • And devour!

    I love chia pudding! Your ratio sounds off though, was it very thin? I use about 2TB per cup of liquid….. My favorite is with coconut milk- although if you’re near juice press or organic ave in nyc both of those places have amazing chia pudding that has blended on coconut meat and cashews…!
