A visit to Golden Union Fish Bar for a snack sometime between lunch and dinner.

Splitting a large plate of cod and chips.

Look at the crust. Light, crisp. Perfect with a lemon squeeze. But even better with…

…tartar sauce. I love tartar sauce (especially the one from Zippy’s back home). This is Golden Union’s “signature homemade” sauce, extra tangy with plenty of chopped pickles. Worth the extra 2£ (though it really should be included in the price).

And an extra order of scampi and chips, just because.
