Pierre thoughtfully purchased me an iphone for Christmas and I’m slowly getting a hang of all the photo capabilities. The 4s camera is impressive, and sometimes I leave the point-and-shoot camera at home because this does (almost) as good of a job. I finally downloaded the instagram app just the other day…and now understand why people are addicted to “instagram-ing” everything. Wanted to share some insta-shots from our Saturday. And any instagram tips you guys have is always appreciated ;)

Lunch at THELEwala…handheld Nizami rolls made to order. Hot masala chai, a lime-paneer roll, a chicken malai and the signature THELEwala chicken roll. Two rolls per person is just right, but we kept things “light” by sharing three rolls. The guys who run this place are ridiculously nice and also do a great (Did some shopping in the West Village before heading down to Locanda Verde for snacks. Olive oil cake? Yes, please.

Pierre went to Kaffe 1668 for a latte…

…while I stopped by Gary Graham on Franklin Street. Here to stock up on silk slips and black dresses. This is one of my favorite clothing shops in the city (they also have a shop tucked inside ABC Home & Carpet). Beautiful fabrics, amazing quality. Am in the middle of updating my wardrobe…saving only the classics, everything else needs to go. Really looking forward to a clean, fresh start.

A visit to Laughing Man, Hugh Jackman’s new (and very tiny) coffee and tea shop on Duane Street. A cup of hot earl grey tea before heading home. Thought this little touch on each to-go cup was adorable: “All be happy!”

Hi Kathy, The photos came out great, and you're carrying one less item. Win-win! How was the balance of LM's earl grey? (Now I want to eat Indian food for lunch today!)

Ohhh… I've never heard of Gary Graham, but will definitely have to check it out! The olive oil cake at Locande Verde, on the other hand, I know to be quite divine!
