Los Angeles | Fizzy Hoppy Tea at Go Get Em Tiger

Aloha from Los Angeles ^_^

Am here for a quick two-night stay (and then fly to Yountville on Wednesday!) We’ve been eating/drinking non-stop and managed to squeeze in a visit to Go Get Em Tiger this afternoon. Everyone keeps talking about their iced latte, but it was the Fizzy Hoppy Tea that caught my eye.

You can order the tea alone (brewed black tea using water infused with citra hops), but it also comes on the side if you get a macchiato or the Business + Pleasure which is a three-part set that includes espresso, almond-macadamia nut milk latte, and the tea. Reminds me of 1+1 from Box Kite Coffee in NYC.

Also worth noting is a solid menu of loose teas (from Song Tea in San Francisco) offered iced, or hot in 4-ounce (a “single infusion”) and 12-ounce servings.

This is the cold-brew (super trendy heheh) Golden Needles.

Till next time ^_^

I started reading your blog when you were still in college in Ca. & then your move toN.Y. I found the blog so enjoyable especially when you started sharing your vacations to different parts of the worldand of course Hawaii. The blog seemed more personal and the tone was so down to earth. Now daysyour blog has such a different feel and to be honest it’s too hoity toity for me. I’m sure there are a lotof tea lovers out there, but please balance your blog better where your not only discussing tea & how to make teabut also back to being a relatable person and just writing about every day things that people can identify with.Thank You, A Long Time Fan

I agree with gigi, I am a long time reader and enjoy your blog very much, however, the tone of the blog has become very impersonal and not as much fun to read. Just my opinion, but your down to earth, chattier posts from a few years ago seemed so much more accessible and enjoyable.
