Mandarin Oriental Paris

Happy Friday ^_^

Let’s look inside a most magical hotel, the Mandarin Oriental Paris. I did piece on the hotel for Gotham Magazine recently. It’s filled with many wonders and touches like housemade ice cream sandwiches (more on this next week!)…

…a view of the Eiffel Tower from the bathroom of the Royale Mandarin Suite.

And Diptyque in all the bathrooms!

Did I mention the Cake Shop??

And a killer dim sum breakfast. After two weeks in France, nothing tasted so comforting as jook with all the fixings (including you tiao and salted egg) and dim sum steamed to order ^_^

Hi Marilyn! Thanks for the kind words. I took all the photos for this post, and that ice cream bar is a swirl of blood orange, lemon sorbet and Grand Marnier coulis. All dipped in white chocolate ^_^Enjoy Kauai! Such a magical island. I loved my visit there and can’t wait to go back.
