It’s been much too long since our last giveaway, no? ^_^

So in collaboration with Palais des Thés, we’re doing giveaway of the Single-Estate Tea Set. It’s one of my favorite products from their collection. Do you remember Coffret de Thés du Monde Entier from way back in 2011? This is like an updated version, only 100X more fabulous because it’s all single-estate teas. No blends, just straight-up goodness.

Black, green, oolong, and pu’erh. The set features ten tubes filled with 12 grams of tea:

  • Grand Yunnan Impérial
  • Long Jing
  • Pu Erh Impérial
  • Genmaïcha
  • Sencha Ariake
  • Butterfly of Taiwan
  • Grand Himalaya
  • Margaret’s Hope
  • Assam Hattiali
  • Saint-James

I’m brewing half of them hot and the other half…cold-brew! Iced tea is my favorite thing about summer.

Each set comes with a booklet with details on every tea. I go crazy for this sort of stuff. Informative and beautiful.

To win: leave a comment below with your favorite type of tea to drink. And to double your chances of winning, follow us on Twitter at: @kathyylchan AND @PalaisdesThesUS.

Contest is open until June 5, 2014. Winner will be selected at random. Post will go up next week announcing the winner. Bonne chance ^_^

My go to everyday tea is green tea although I do love all teas. It really depends on my mood and yes the weather (summer= ice tea). I also have a habit of adding to my tea Harney & Son’s organic herbal peppermint tea bag as well.

Now that the weather is warmer I tend to naturally gravitate towards teas that are more floral and fruity in essence with hints of fresh mint. In the morning and evening I stick to my usual green tea and the afternoon is when I like that something floral and fruity. So delicious!

Hi Kathy,I have been a regular reader (and fan) of your blog since your days at college in California. To add in some personal details,I am married to an island boy who went to Punaho. My favorite tea to drink is Lapsang Souchong, but I am curious about and want to try "White" green teas. I don’t know anything about them beyond what I have read on menus.Sincerely, Janeen Lynas von TripsEmail: janeen_lynas@yahoo.com
