Sweetbread at Ani’s Bake Shop

Sweetbread, not King’s is amazing. But it’s not. Ani’s is so much better.

It’s a million times more soft and fluffy. I love to peel off the top “skin” layer and eat that first. Then devour the roll like a pull apart loaf. It has a sweet, buttery flavor and you could easily wipe out a half pan for breakfast.

Make sure you get the last roll (there’s eight in a pan). Because then you can use your finger to swipe up all the nubby bits that get stuck to the pan. So ono!!!

Check out this old Star Bulletin article on Ani’s Bake Shop. They bake a ton of other good stuff like apple bread, cinnamon loaf, and lilikoi and guava butter cream rolls ^_^
