Sunday morning at Jessup Cellars in Yountville
It feels good to be home. Familiar sheets and pillows, bathrobes and tea kettles.
We took the red eye from San Francisco last night and landed in NYC at 5am this morning…check out all the fog. I took a long bath after we came home and then a look at my calendar. I travel often but rarely for more than two or three weeks at a time. This time it was a entire month…and it went by so fast! I almost feel guilty for saying this but no, I did not miss NYC. I love being back, but I did not miss it.
One week in London, one week in Paris, another week in London, and then one week in San Francisco. And I did this all with one carry-on suitcase, very proud of myself.
I have many posts I can’t wait to share (and will likely end up doing so in the most haphazard order so thanks for sticking around :), but first want to say thank you to friends/family who made this trip especially memorable. And to Kelly who picked me up from SFO and drove me everywhere I wanted to eat. She drove me everywhere throughout high school too, so this is practically tradition.
