Hair Business: Cuts, Conditioners, and Masks

I got my bi-annual hair cut today! Once in May and once in adventurous (again) but perhaps it’s better to play it safe…right?

We knocked off 3-inches. Got rid of all those split ends, cleaned things up. A little layering, a lot of texturizing. Healthier, lighter hair – that’s my goal for summer. Also, finally found a leave-in conditioner that I am 100% happy with. Frederic Fekkai’s Daily Protein Fortifier is a lifesaver, super thank you to April for the rec. I run through this tiny spray bottle in no time but it’s worth every penny.

As for actual shampoo and conditioner? Lisa surprised me with this amazing Moroccan Oil set. I was complaining about my dry scalp one week and the next time I saw her…surprise!! So very thoughtful :) It’s a trio set of the scalp treatment, moisture repair shampoo, and hydrating mask. I’ve used it consistently for the last month and noticed a huge improvement with my scalp…ahh so moisturized. We shall continue on this path.

Hehe I get my haircuts in May and November too. How funny! Great experience at the East 4th location today too. :)

I'm usually a bit of a cheapskate when it comes to buying hair products, but I always indulge in the Moroccan Oil hydrating mask. So worth it! :)
