NYC: Erno Laszlo: The Hollywood Collection

Still can't get over the hors d'oeuvres served at an Erno Laszlo event the other week. The world's tiniest pig in a blanket and smoked salmon on pumpernickel cut into little pig shapes. Wasabi tobiko stripes to complete! And the way it was presented! Not on plastic, but upright, sharp sticks and a tall field of grass. Memorable and delicious.

The event was to celebrate the company's 85th anniversary and launch of The Hollywood Collection. Five products nestled into this black case, each based off formulations Laszlo created for clients like Grace Kelly and Ava Gardner. You recall Audrey Hepburn's famous quote, no? "I owe 50% of my beauty to my mother and the other 50% to Erno Laszlo." Excited to try it out, shall report back.
