Greg came for breakfast on Saturday and brought beautiful Ladurée macarons from his holiday in London. Grilled portobello mushrooms and garlic-laced burgers were the highlight of a boozy Saturday afternoon rooftop barbecue in Williamsburg. A sweet summer view. Justin and Luke just moved to the city, aka many more excuses to go out for gorgeous meals. Lunch at Ciano followed by a full afternoon of processo at their new apartment (Justin: I am counting on you to host afternoon tea parties there!!) Sunday lunch at the Breslin with morning cocktails, sucking pig hash, fried peanut and banana sandwiches, steak and eggs, and a perfectly done lamb burger for Pierre.
Today. Wake up late to fresh squeezed orange juice. Sunny side eggs and toasted brioche. Cracked black pepper and sea salt. It’s a shame Tuesday isn’t a holiday as well.
