This is a food blog. But I love hats as much as I love food. So bear with me. Found this photo of a stunning cloche on Flickr a few months ago. I've taken the photo around to nearly every hat millinery in the city and no one can figure out who the designer is. It is driving me crazy.
I think. If I can't locate the millinery soon, I am tempted to have a custom version made, perhaps black with grey silk. I'd trade in a few good meals for one magnificent cloche. Sometimes. Some things are worth the investment ^_^
On another note, met Jess for a cup of hot Ovaltine at Spot earlier this afternoon. Rainy Sunday. Takeout for dinner: Grand Sichuan hot & sour cellophane noodles, and from Panya - a hot matcha latte and a slice of strawberry shortcake. Maybe in 2010 I will attempt to eat healthier. So excited to leave for Hawai'i in two days!Spot

It's good to see you enjoy your food so much! And you can afford to indulge while you're young. I'm sure you hear it all the time; but it's true, you just can't eat as much as you get older and you may even have dietary restrictions along the way.

You look so happy, I am so glad you are doing so well. As for your hat, I am a hat freak too (who in NYC isn't?) I'm here in town now but I agree with K&S, if you really love the hat, have it made for you. That is a beautiful hat and now I wnt one too LOL.... Maybe I'll be walking down Lex and see someone with the same hat and it will be you LOLOLOL Actually I will be in NYC around april or may. Meanwhile, enjoy your visit back home with your family.
