"Aloha!" ^_^
Stopped by my Grandma's house this morning to visit her and Buddy. Buddy still looks the same, though moves a bit slower...doggy arthritis. I think my Grandpa might be feeding him a bit too much. Big belly dog!
But he is well loved. And that's all that matters in the end. Grandma sent us home with plenty of local mangoes and lychees. Hopefully we go dim sum later on this week.
Mom and I stopped by the new Lanikai Juice near Kahala Mall on the way to Grandma's. We split an Acai Bowl for a quick breakfast, then shuffled over to Great Harvest for a few loaves of the honey-wheat bread, and some granola from Umeke Market.
Acai Bowls are so popular (SO POPULAR) in Hawai'i, but I guess the trend didn't take on (or did it already take off and leave??) in Manhattan.
We got the basic bowl: acai, bananas and granola. Cheerful start to the day ^_^ Later in the day: Korean plate lunch at Palama Market, shave ice from Waiola's, and family dinner at Maguro-Ya. Posts to come soon!

Buddy is adorable!!!
That's so cool that they've opened up a Lanikai Juice in Kahala. When I'm home, I stop at the Kailua location probably once a day :)
