Shrinking Slice? :[

I stop by Artichoke for pizza a few times a week. Usually as a snack on my way to work, or on the way home. It's right around the corner from my apartment, and the Sicilian slices are delicious. One slice -> $3.50.

About a month ago, I started to notice that the slices (I can only vouch for the Sicilian) were smaller with each visit. I guess it's only something you notice if you order the exact same thing at the exact same place multiple times a week. Price remains the same of course. It's scary how quickly change has settled in - hopefully the shrinkage will stop in due time...lest it take two slices to fill me up for a "snack" ^_^

Happy Wednesday!

hopefully the slice will get back to the size you've loved, or you may have to find a new snack...

If it is smaller oh well. It looks delish!

ah yes, this is called the dollar menu trick. They've had the dollar menu for over a decade now, and there's no way McDonald's will let 4% inflation eat away at their profits every year. So you just make it smaller. Either that or raise the prices... wonder how people would feel if Artichoke went up to $4.

Yes, the shrinkage will cease. At that point the price will takes it turn to increase.
