Friday...

...pre-dinner "snack" with Ray. Ducking out of the crazy rain, we met at Hop Kee on Mott Street and dove into orders of Pan Fried Flounder and Pork Chop Peking Style.

Chinese food is indeed the mother of all comfort cuisines, especially when mother nature is on a furious streak. Many thanks to Ray, for another awesome "snack" ^_^

Post-Hop Kee, I took the bus straight up Bowery, and dropped off my bags at home. Later on in the night, Shann and I shared a "major munch" sized skillet of Cajun Mac & Cheese at S'MAC on 12th Street.

Currently: comfortably stuffed with plans to dilly-dally the night away with a good book. The construction people finally came to install screens so I can read with my back propped near the window and not have to worry about crazy objects flying in ^_^

Happy Friday!

Mac & cheese - I don't get it. Hope I never do. As far as I'm concerned it may as well be sold @ McD's.

What are these crazy objects intruding your space?

Hop Kee makes great fish dishes! Their lunch specials are so reasonably priced and super tasty. Classic Cantonese comfort food! :)
