AHHHHH! I made croissants this morning! And they came out awesome! That is all. I’m just so excited that both the food and picture came out well! My tummy tells me it is time for lunch, but I’ll be back soon…enjoy! :)

Kathy, those croissants look delicious! Man, I want to get some more from Patisserie Claude now… You’re also motivating me to bake but my finals are prohibiting me from doing so.

Oh man wish you could send some over, I’ve been subsisting on oatmeal and wheatines here in finals week. :( Can’t wait to go home for REAL food!

Hi Kathy – Croissants, just like that, huh? Wow, I don’t think I ever woke up in the morning thinking… “geez, I’m going to whip up a few dozen croissants!” Very impressive!

Hey Tina!Noooo, finals crap! Take the subway, it’ll be quick! :)Shannnnnnnon!Starbucks was FUN today, especially with all those neato couches, next time we need to get one facing the outside to do some people watching. Thanks for the ride there and back (twice!) See you mon! :)Hey Alice!Just imagine how good real food will taste once finals are over! I remember living off nothing but peanut butter and oatmeal in various forms for a week – gah, I was so sick of those two items for the longest time!Hey Pia!I just pulled off the basic croissant recipe from epicurious.com – it’s not hard at all, but SOSOSO time consuming! Though it will be well worth your efforts (if you ignore the massive quantity of Costco portioned butter it calls for :)Hey Elmo!hehe, they were fun to make, but I think I enjoyed eating them even more :)Hey Chubbypanda! If you come over to Hawaii, I’d make a whole batch just for you! :)Hey Kirk! Thanks! Though you know what would be really cool? If I could wake up in the morning and say, “geez, I’m going to head on to Urasawa for dinner tonight!” :) oh man. that WOULD be cool!
